Sean Louram

Sean's Irish ancestry is rooted in County Monaghan.  An accomplished musician, he gives the band a true Irish sound on the button accordion.  He has been spotted entertaining the crowds from the west coast of Ireland to the Med, as well as at festivals on the Scottish Isles.  He has even been known to liven up sleepy Cornish fishing villages.

From dance tunes to Irish ballads to modern Irish, Sean never fails to entertain.  Everyone loves a laugh with Sean, but be careful; if you are Irish you may well be related!

Ron Darnbrough

Ron joined his first band in the 60’s singing The Springfields, Peter Paul & Mary and Nina & Frederick songs.  He joined a jug band playing Lonnie Donegan and blues. In the 70’s his interest turned to traditional music, first singing solo and in vocal harmony bands, then playing and calling in local ceilidh bands.  Between the 80’s and 90’s he toured Ireland extensively, playing traditional Irish music.

Ron is an accomplished singer, guitarist, bodhran player (celtic drum) and ceilidh caller.

Pat Kelly

Pat has played and sung in a number of bands, from pub to show bands, pop, country and rock, for more years than he cares to recall.  For the past 20 years, returning to his roots, he has played in several Irish bands and has toured widely in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Pat has an extensive vocal range and is a capable lead & harmony singer.   He plays bass guitar & acoustic guitar and is an experienced sound & light engineer.

Play List

Having tired of imitation Irish bands, Hooley Gang was formed in the summer 2007 from like

minded, dedicated musicians, with a wealth of experience steeped in the traditions of Irish culture.

Bring together a mixture of classic songs, tunes & ceilidh dance calling, we recreate the

atmosphere of the pubs & clubs around Ireland.
